In my free time I have a habit of creating. Usually this involves writing up DnD adventures or making custom Magic the Gathering cards. However, sometimes I feel the need to create something new. One of those things is Gunslinger.
Gunslinger would be a TCG (trading card game) focused around, you guessed it, gun battles. This will be in a fantasy world that mirrors some aspects of the real world, so think revolvers and magic.
Some of the early ideas I had:
Possible Thematic Locations or Themes for GUNSLINGER • Wild West • Steampunk/Victorian era • Far East • Civil War • Middle East (crusades)
Card types • Character (subtype – Legend) • Obstacle (subtype – Building) • Maneuvers
I'll be working on some more detailed mechanics and providing sample cards soon.
So, what do you think? Any ideas you have are welcome!

New stuff to add:
Characters attack other characters or players.
Only one character may use a given obstacle, unless the card states otherwise.
Maneuvers have been changed to Actions, with Reactions as a subtype that can be played at any time.
I'm still unsure on how stamina for using maeuvers should work. My intitial thoughts are to start with 1, gaining 1 or more every turn. However, without being staic the games drag on and if it is static it becomes far too easy to play more powerful maneuvers. This is the biggest snag I have right now.
I have been crafting the first set of cards with different archetypes in mind, including aggro, atrition, combo, Legend-based, etc. So far I feel things are balanced, but the costs are a work in progress because of my struggle with the Stamina system.
Any input is appreciated!

I've done some work here and there. Several updates have been made, but this game is the closest to the original idea of all the games I'm working on.
